Director KS Ravikumar is known in industry cycles to be a stickler for timing. If the director works on ambitious projects like ‘Dasavathaaram’, he follows them up with multiple smaller projects, and it has been this ability that has made him do so many films.

While he has already completed his 'Jaggubhai', with Sarath and Shriya in the lead, Ravikumar has also quickly completed the second schedule of 'Aadhavan', his next project, with Suriya and Nayantara in the lead.

The first schedule of the film was shot in a palatial bungalow in Chennai where over 40 percent of the movie was completed. Following that, the crew flew over to Kodaikanal, where a song and few scenes were shot. The film has music by Harris Jayaraj and choreographed by Bhaskar. This song has been captured on the mountain side over 40 kms from Kodaikanal.

Following this, the film’s crew will proceed to shoot in Kolkata, where two songs will be shot. Later, two songs of the film will be shot abroad as well. With this, the Suriya -Nayantara starrer will be released for Diwali. Following these, the actor will proceed to do ‘Singam’ with Hari, while KS Ravikumar will do a film with Vikram.
